Mature Decision: Attendance has been cancelled.
I thought I would take this opportunity to lie in the sun; and get a tan...but due to fear of boredom..I signed myself unto things which I have neither the immune system;physical strength nor even the mental aptitude to be there. Those that are wanted to be there are having their way paid- are wanted.
Also as a sideline- it was comforting to know that Micheal Martin was concerned about us in Civil Society. I do NOT know Mr.G.St.Jacques ? Friend or Foe?? Of Washington DC?
(Maybe the Canadian Club of Winnipeg should invite him as a Guest speaker-..just an idea..)
I get the feeling I will have nothing to do with Canada's new Chief Negotiator. I hope the young people will drive him crazy with their sincere, honest queries. (With NO security guards to block their persistent questioning.) ...I think I do NOT want to be there- because they will all flock to Linda Duncan for shelter from the confusing mind storm.
